Just the ticket

Hi Paul,
Got the light, installed it. Lovely job mate! Just the ticket. Love the collection of fittings and straps that come with it too.

Cheers

They still work perfectly

It's been a year and a half since I purchased my Down Low Glow lights for my Catrike and they still work perfectly. - Ken, Louisiana 4/4/2008

Ben's wheelchair

I've got a new wheelchair coming in February, and keeping the lights very much in mind, I've ordered the frame to be polished titanium... that's going to show the lights off brilliantly!- Ben from the UK 4/4/2008

Ranger kicked us out of the park, wanted to know about the DLG

The park ranger gently evicting us from a BBQ last weekend saw my bike (glowing at dusk, of course) and said, "wow, what's that?!" "A down low glow," I said. "No, where did you get that?" I gave him an xtracycle card. I even remembered to write my name on it that time.

Here's another for you:

A week or so ago, some kids startled me on the way home, but I caught up
to them at the stop light and growled a bit (they cowered a bit). I
should have brought my squirt gun (*). But then a couple nights ago, a
guy (in a car) pulled up next to me and said, "what is that on your down
tube ... I've gotta get one!" Forcees of good: 1.5 "evil:" .5

So much more confidence when I'm riding at night.

It gives me so much more confidence when I'm riding at night. I just feel like everyone can see me, including walkers who I can't even see. It just makes me feel so much better.

Thanks, Geddis Byerley, Tucson, AZ.

Saw my wife from half a mile away!

Paul the lights are amazing and so f------ cool. My wife likes hers a lot too. This morning I had to chase her up the hill to the Palace of the Legion of Honor and I saw her when I was more than a 1/2 mile away. It was really cool because as she hustled up the hill I could see the green light spray swaying from side to side. I also beefed up our headlights making us all the more safe. You have a great product for sure, we wish you great success.

Feeling much safer during my commute

Dear Paul,

I am a regular daily bike commuter, for the past eight years. I have been using the Down Low Glow since we went back to standard time, as it gets dark pretty early up here, this time of year. I have to say I'm very pleased with your product, and am feeling much safer during my commute (and it is quite fun too!).

I anticipate that many people will be riding up next to me and asking where I got this contraption. So if you see a bolus of orders from Seattle, you'll get an idea of where the referrals are coming from. I suspect this ordering pattern happens to you a lot.

The installation was relatively easy and trouble-free. My only suggestion for improvement, and one I'm sure you're already aware of, is to come up with a better one piece waterproof system that does not require the battery to be wrapped up in a plastic bag. This of course is especially crucial for us in places like Seattle. Continued good luck with your products,

Eric Stern, Seattle, WA.

I was surprised how bright it is.

I called C.J. today to see how he was liking his Down Low Glow so far. He had spent a long time with me on the phone deciding which model to get, so I wanted to make sure he was happy with it. He said he was really happy so far, and he was surprised how bright it was.

[Down Low Glow is] Very cool, indeed.

In January of this year I bought a double green set of
lights which I just loved the first time I rode with
them. As a commuter, I was amazed how much more
attention I seemed to get from cars in the dark of
winter. In fact, my first trip home down a long hill
where I can keep up with traffic on my bike, a cop on
a cross street noticed me and started to tail me out
of curiosity. As a result, a few blocks later when
some knucklehead cut across 2 lanes of traffic and
nearly ran me off the road, the cop was right there to
pull him over and give him a ticket. Very cool,
indeed.
