The Down Low Glow is a great choice for folding bikes because they often have long seat posts or frame tubes. The DLG's 12.5" long light tubes often look proportionally right on these bikes.

The Down Low Glow will fit your recumbent trike in a few different ways, as you can see from the annotated photo above.

The Easy Racer Tour Easy is a good example of long wheebase recumbent bicycles. The frame provides numerous mounting options for mounting the Down Low Glow. One of the key locations is the short down tube (where the front green tube is shown in the picture.) This is the position that will provide the essential side visibility the DLG provides so well.

Some fixed gear bikes have a very tight clearance between the down tube and the front wheel. But with the Down Low Glow's center-mount you can just slide the whole tube down, out of the way. Even if it overhangs the bottom bracket by a few inches, you'll still have a secure shockproof mount.

The chopper bicycle above from XYZ Bikes (only $155 at the time of this posting, dang!) is a good example of how to mount the DLG on a chopper frame.
