How should I mount the Down Low Glow on my long wheelbase recumbent?

The Easy Racer Tour Easy is a good example of long wheebase recumbent bicycles. The frame provides numerous mounting options for mounting the Down Low Glow. One of the key locations is the short down tube (where the front green tube is shown in the picture.) This is the position that will provide the essential side visibility the DLG provides so well.
Will the DLG fit on my fixed gear messenger bike?
Some fixed gear bikes have a very tight clearance between the down tube and the front wheel. But with the Down Low Glow's center-mount you can just slide the whole tube down, out of the way. Even if it overhangs the bottom bracket by a few inches, you'll still have a secure shockproof mount.
