One of our big initiatives at Clif Bar is helping to encourage people to get out of their cars and onto their bikes once a week to make those quick trips under 2 miles from where they live; we call it the Clif Bar 2 Mile Challenge. We feel very strongly that there is great need for people to start thinking creatively about using the bike as a means of transportation to fight the effects of climate change. With our Soul Cycle Mothership attached to the ride, we’re dropping climate neutral beats and inspiring others as we ride! Last week at an event, I was cruising around the venue with the iPod on shuffle when Bob Marley’s “Get up, Stand Up” came on the player. I cranked the volume dial up and turned heads throughout the whole place. People threw their fists in the air and sang along as I rode by - Don’t give up the fight! The sound blew the doors off the place and infectiously spread smiles throughout as we shared our organic Clif Bars with the people; that’s the way we like to roll. Thanks for helping us represent to the fullest, Paul. Keep up the good fight.
