When it comes to Customer Service, we can't always be superheroes

An appreciative customer from Seattle sent us this cool comic praising our customer service after a quick response to a problem with his Down Low Glow.
We certainly aim to please, but we have to admit that September and early October were pretty rocky for customer service at Rock The Bike. We had a long back order on the Down Low Glow due to a delayed battery shipment, followed by a handful of basic shipping errors. I personally was out of town during much of this period, working in Austin on the UMDJ project, and on then tour as an entertainer with the 2-Mile Challenge. So I couldn't be there to help out on crucial shipping days.
We've now worked through these errors one by one emailing with customers to resolve the problems.
Thanks for the impressive customer service
By James, Seattle, WA.- James, Seattle, WA 9/14/2007Thanks for the impressive customer service. I just sent back the defective light.
I was totally surprised that you paid for the return shipping.
I already test-plugged the new light into the battery. HO-LEE Crap!!! It's so bright. Teamed with my "hokey spokes" (heard of them? www.hokeyspokes.com) and the other assorted lights and reflectors... I may cause an accident because of the distraction...
I've never felt so visible
By Bob, Seattle, WA.- Bob, Seattle, WA 3/20/2007Hey, Paul:
All winter long as I rode through the dark rainy streets of Seattle, I've
been meaning to write you about my DLG.
I've never felt so visible, and I'll swear up and down the thing saved my
tail on at least a couple of occasions. It was icing on the cake to have
pedestrians yell compliments from sidewalks, and to have cars pull me over
to ask where I got it. I've sent so many people to your website I was
contemplating asking for a commission. Hope you got a lot of orders!
Thanks for the great customer service and a great product.
