How long will the battery last on the Soul Cycle Head Unit?
The internal rechargeable battery should last 5-8 hours at full volume. It depends on the type of music you play and the speakers you use. Larger, lower-impedance speakers will drain the battery faster.
When your battery is depleted, you'll hear the internal amplifier struggling to keep up with your music. This sounds like scratchy digital noise added to your music. When you hear this, it's time to turn the music off and recharge.
As you'll see laser etched next to the Head Unit's charger port, it's important to turn your Head Unit off while charging the battery.
Using our trickle charger, you can recharge the battery in about 10-12 hours. Using our fast charger (a $60 upgrade) you can recharge the battery in 2-3 hours.
The Soul Cycle head unit Rocks!
Submitted by Wild Johnny on Tue, 06/12/2007 - 09:40.I've been using the soul cycle head unit with two Infinity 2 way 6 x 9 car stereo speakers that I picked up on close out special at Best Buy. The system rocks our Southbay Cruisers rides in Hermosa Beach,CA. I've found it loud enough for cruiser rides of 20 - 35 people. People on the ride get a kick out of the fact that there is actually a stereo on my bike too. I love that it is so small - even smaller than the picture makes it seem. And I love that it has just one set of wires to connect to your speakers.
