When Clif Bar wanted to pump up the volume on their "2-Mile Challenge" bike advocacy tour, they turned to Rock the Bike for a human-powered Soul Cycle Mothership party bike. The party bike helps spread smiles at events and increase the numbers of visitors to Clif Bar's 2-Mile Challenge bus.

Street performing at KFOG Kaboom last night
Submitted by fossilfool on Sun, 05/11/2008 - 13:56.Had a great time performing with Ken the mad scientist, Joel, Zori, Mafi, and Daniel last night at the KFOG Kaboom. We had completely sustainable sound -- solar charged keyboard amp, and human powered vocals. We performed about 2 hours in an area filled with tailgaters, for tips, food, and fun.

Generator Project
Submitted by dante on Sun, 12/09/2007 - 14:56.HI
I am on The Pleasant Revolution Tour. I designed and built 4 bike generators for an expedition tour though Mexico. I am currently working on these prototypes on this tour. I would like to keep you all informed of my progress.
Each bike has a generator that can be engaged on the fly, or set up on a center stand, to generate power while moving or stationary. There is a 12-volt 6amp Lith. Phos. battery that can be charged with a solar panel (BRUNON foldable 12v 26w panel), or with the Generator. Any 12v device can run off the 12v Batt., solar panel, or the generator.

Our entry in the Innovate or Die competition
We're entering the Innovate or Die competition. We'd really appreciate it if you would view, forward, rate, and comment on our YouTube entry.
Also, please take a look at the other submissions in the contest. There are some cool ones, particularly the Pedal Powered Zoetrope, and the Dual Purpose Bicycle (for powering tools in the developing world).
