Rock the Bike founder Paul Freedman, a.k.a. Fossil Fool

Paul Freedman (also known as Fossil Fool, the Bike Rapper) began Rock the Bike in Summer of 2004. The company was initially called "Fossil Fool", but that name now refers only to his bike rapping alter ego.
In addition to sending out the bike vibe through his rap, custom Soul Cycle party bikes, and the Down Low Glow bike lights, Paul also contributes to Worldbike.org, a nonprofit developing low cost cargo bikes for poor countries.
We bid adieu to Mike Cobb: welder, seamster, bike mechanic, bicycle customizer. Our loss is Portland's gain.

The Juice Peddler (Nate Byerley)
Nate is a passionate environmentalist, inventor, human power afficionado, and entrepreneur. He developed the bike blenders sold by Rock the Bike, and used them to sell thousands of bike-blended smoothies at festivals in 2005 and 2006.
Nate recently stepped into a new role as leader of Xtracycle. We're sorry to see him less around the Rock the Bike workshop, and psyched that he'll be guiding the Xtracycle mothership to new galaxies.
Brandon Bergren, web coder.
Brandon joined Rock the Bike as the leader of our web development team in early 2007. He has tons of open-source software experience. If you have trouble using Rock the Bike.com, Brandon's probably the person who'll fix the problem.

Graphic Designer Christopher Reyes
Christopher created LivefromMemphis.com.
He created the Rock the Bike logo. Christopher is a huge promoter of Memphis music, art, and film. He doesn't ride a bike because he lives about a block from Beale St., but he's been bugging us to make him a Live from Memphis Pedicab, with speakers and video equipment. He'll use the pedicab at events to play music, record events, and hype the crowd.
